Ironline Command
★★★★★ 4.6
Ironline Command is the kind of strategy game that punishes you for treating it casually, and I mean that as a compliment. You move units across a hex grid, but the real fight is over supply routes. Cut an enemy's line and their whole flank starts to crumble on its own.
The AI plays a smart, patient game. It will bait you into overextending and then hit the gap you left behind. I lost my first three campaign missions badly, then it clicked, and now I plan every turn around keeping roads open.
On a phone the hex map is a little cramped, but pinch-zoom works well and the interface is clean. If you like slow, thoughtful strategy over frantic tapping, this one is worth your evenings.
